British Medical Journalに発表された研究によれば、高レベルの受動喫煙暴露は認知機能不全リスクを44%増加させる。
50才以上の非喫煙者約5000人の唾液検体を用い、コチニンレベルと喫煙歴調査から受動喫煙レベルを測定した。
