EPAは米国の200万人の農場・森林・苗生産・温室労働者とその家族をより強く守ることを発表した。主な変更点はこれまで5年に一回だったトレーニングを毎年義務化したこと、トレーニング内容に作業着の農薬を自宅に持ち帰ることを減らすための方法などの安全性に関する項目を増やしたこと、18才以下の子どもには農薬の取り扱いを禁止したことなどである。
