最新がん年次報告書1975-2014では全がん死亡率は、全ての主要人種で男性、女性、子どもで減り続けていることを報告
2010-2014年に死亡率が増えているがんは男性の肝臓、膵臓、脳腫瘍、女性の肝臓と子宮。
5年生存率については子宮頸がんと子宮がんを除く全てのがんで増加。またタバコ関連がんの生存率が低いことから禁煙政策の重要性を再確認
