申請者により新たに提出されたデータについて意見を求められた。
Econase XT P/Lの中に生産に用いられた微生物の組換えDNAがあるかどうかについて2つのPCR検査で評価している。検出限界は663 bp断片について20 pg mL-1 で1974 bp断片で20 ng mL-1のものと663 bp断片は20 pg mL-1で1974 bp断片は 2 ng mL-1のものである。いずれの方法でも組換えDNA断片は検出されていない。
