現在入手できる情報から、火山灰に含まれるフッ化物によるヨーロッパの飲料水、野菜、果物、魚、乳、肉、飼料の汚染によるリスクは無視できる。
火山灰の組成についてのデータがないため、過去に報告された噴火の際の主懸念項目としてのフッ化物に注目した。
