改善されたレビュープロセスにより遺伝子組換え作物の規制解除申請について追加の、早期意見募集（60日間）を行う。
新しい方法の対象となるのは以下。

Low-Browning Apple (Okanagan Specialty Fruits)
Imidazolinone Tolerant Soybean (BASF)
Glyphosate Tolerant Canola (Monsanto)
High-Yield Soybean (Monsanto)
Hybridization System Corn (Monsanto)
2,4-D, Glyphosate, and Glufosinate Tolerant Soybean (Dow)
Glyphosate Tolerant Corn (Genective)
Dicamba Tolerant Soybean (Monsanto)
改良プロセスへの移行としてこれまでの手順で最終段階になったものは以下。APHISのリスク評価ではこれらによる農作物やその他植物へのリスクはありそうにない。これらについては60日間のパブリックコメントを募集する。
