食品模倣物A, B, C, D1(EU規則10/2011に設定されている)と接触する多層物質の内部の(食品と接触しない)層として使用することを意図したポリエステル層の製造に、コモノマーとして使用するなら、この物質に消費者の安全上の懸念はない。この物質と二量体を合わせた移行は0.05 mg/kg 食品を超えるべきではない。
